IBC - Bin Loader

Application & Process

The Prism IPC Bin Loader is used for transferring and discharging material dust-free and without human touch in pharmaceutical industries. It is used to load powder into HSMG bowl, hopper of tablet press, container of blender, load tablets into hopper of blister pack & coating machine, and for online sifting and milling.

The Prism IPC Bin Loader consists of a main frame, bin fixing arm, hydraulic lifting device, and pivot base. The main frame can move 360 degrees on its axis, and the bin fixing arm moves upward and downward in the frame using a hydraulic cylinder and power pack system. A moveable container/bin is placed beneath the fixing arm, and the hydraulic drive system lifts the arm with the container, raising it until it stops in position. The column can then be swiveled to position the bin over the inlet of the next processing equipment, and the container can be unloaded by opening the butterfly valve on the next processing equipment.

Salient Features

• Design complies with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
• All product contact parts are made of AISI 316/316L stainless steel, while non-contact parts are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
• Capacity available from 30 kg to 600 kg.
• Suitable for inline processes involving milling and sifting.
• Suitable for loading material onto High Shear Mixers Granulator, Blenders, Tablet Presses, Auto-Coaters and Blister Pack machines.
• Lifting arm can swivel 360 degrees.
• Loading height can be designed according to the end user's requirements and slab height.
• Structure cladding is of S.S.304 quality and has a matte finish.
• Equipped with a hydraulic power pack system for lifting.
• If the power goes off, the loader remains in its position.
• Limit switches are provided to stop the hydraulic drive when the stroke is completed or Bin reached at its defining position.
